Run for Moore is a series of 5km men only events around the country organised by the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. The fund was set up by Bobby Moore’s widow, Stephanie, after he sadly died from bowel cancer at the age of 51.

35,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year in the UK. That’s enough to fill the entire West Ham stadium where Bobby Moore played. With your support we can find new ways to prevent, detect and treat bowel cancer.

This year we have created a league table to find the top online fundraisers and fastest finishers in the country. So, will it be Ipswich, London, Bristol, Hull, Manchester or Oxford who will finish top?

Manchester Run for Moore takes place on Sunday 1st June 2008 at 2:30pm at Heaton Park and we need all the men of Manchester to enter now so Manchester can finish top of the league.

Manchester needs you so enter today and help tackle bowel cancer!
