All about Salty...
I'm Salty, I'm 32 and I live in Crosby, Liverpool with my wife Lindsay, baby daughter Ruby and dog Jake. Ruby was born in May and since she came along life is a lot different! (But much better as well!)
I've been working in radio since I was a teenager. Firstly as a backroom boy at Signal Radio in Stoke, before spending 8 years at Radio City in Liverpool, doing news, sport and co-presenting the breakfast show. I'm now doing breakfast with Ditchy and Debbie on Century Radio and enjoying every minute of it!
Other interesting facts about me: I used to be a tour guide at a stately home, I've ran the London Marathon and I've played at Anfield in front of 45,000 people, raising money for people affected by the Tsunami.
I've got a season ticket at Liverpool Football Club and present a few shows on the club's TV channel LFC TV in my spare time. In fact I'm a sports addict (football, cricket and darts are my favourites!).
My favourite band is Queen, favourite film is Back to the Future and fave TV shows are Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses and Blackadder, plus regulars like Corrie and The Bill!
